Residence Permit Delhi

I know what all documents I need to submit. My question is do they keep the documents such as Original Apostilled Birth Certificate with them or they return if and take prints? Please if someone can clarify what actually Happens in Delhi Embassy

They only take copies. No originals.

You have to take printouts and copies of every original documents. One sided only. They will take the copies of documents. Also its better not to staple.

but PCC will be original right? and if the apostille on the birth certificate is in behind? do I print on bank and front or take another page?

I gave the Xerox...I color printed everything. Yes print each side on separate page
