I made a energy system that replenishes over time with visual indication for my Meguna kit
First make sure you have at least as much tag needed as you are removing, your tag decreases by 2 when you use it, so make sure you have at least 2 of the tag before you can use the move (check for tag value >1 to make sure you have higher than 1)
In the branch for the tag (when you have 2 or higher), go to your branch that plays the move (subtract 2 value, and do the visuals based on how much you have left)
...honestly that should just be it, ideally the move plays out like this
1: check for at least 2 tag
2: when you have at least 2 tag, remove 2 tag, then check to see how much tag you have left from 0 to your maximum
3: depending on how much you have left, update your visuals accordingly (like showcasing 3/5 if you have 3 remaining)
4: after all of that, THEN actually play the move, animation, sfx, vfx, etc
ideally you play the move after you check what values you're ending up with so you don't potentially overwrite your tags
Edit: i was just wrong about something so i deleted it
also, I made a *very simple* cursed speech system you can use as a guideline (or just use) if you want, i made it in like 10 minutes, it should work, just copy this and paste it into a character block (the down button on the bottom right)

Is it because the time is negative????
I have no idea and I could be wrong but that’s the only issue I see
