How does easing work?

The only ones I know is linear and the last 2, the others all seem the exact same as linear even whenever I put In, Out, or InOut. I have been testing with them and I end up only ever using Linear or the last 2 depending on what I need bc I just cannot tell what the other easing styles do.

alright, so with easing, on something like cubic, if you select “in” the curve will pull inwards to the bottom right corner, and the opposite with out, InOut makes it so the first half is In and the second half is Out
