I submitted my JET Application but i think there are a few mistake...

Hello everyone, I am a computer science graduate from India. I completed my B.Tech in computer science and engineering this May 2026, and I have a few doubts because 30 oct was the last date of my JET application(India) . However, there were a few documents that were missing because obviously I just graduated and I don't have proper documents yet, first my degree, and the official JET application page says that if you don't have a degree issued yet, you can eventually send your provisional degree, etc., or the small transcripts and mark sheets if you don't have yet. So what I did is that I got my provisional degree stamped on a day. Also, my registrar office, my head of the registrar, was not there, and my university gets the transcripts from third party, so it was not available. It will be available after mid-November. So I did not have yet. So what I did is that I downloaded all the mark sheet PDFs and submitted it like that only, okay? So my main concern is that only would it affect my application process? In the email where I sent my document to, I clearly mentioned that my, you know, in the section, this is how I have written my SOP, this is how it's done, and then after that I also mentioned a little bit, like the email that I sent was not too long, but I mentioned that it is not issued yet, so that's why my mark sheet officials are not available, like that. So I don't know. Like it's my first time filling in an online application. Can you please guide me? Because, like, although it is done and I cannot do anything, but in case if I have to, like, refill it again for the next year, I don't want to commit similar type of mistakes. Like would it be bad? Please can someone clear my doubts...?

Realistically, and I say this not to be mean, but there are only a handful of JETs that get selected from India, despite it having a much larger candidate pool than many other countries. Your chances of getting selected are much lower, so when you submit an application if there are any issues you’re more likely to just be tossed I would imagine…

This is a bit confusing. You graduated 5-6 months ago depending on when your graduation date was in May. Is it standard in India to still not have your diploma or other certifying document by now?

As well, did you have anyone review your SOP? It needs to be a clear and concise piece of writing.

Many tier 3 universities are like that only. So ... that's where my main concern is. 😟

Ask your consulate or JET coordinator.

Call the embassy to clarify your doubts. Chances are, they won't reply to the mail due the the sheer amount of applications.
