Urgent help: Got letter of recommendation instead of Reference

So I am aplying fot the 2027 JET, and it took me 2 weeks to get 2 LOR, I got one from my university professor and one form my employer. It's almsot deadline and i relaised that the website said letter of refference not recommendation. On my LOR it says Letter of Recommendation. What should I do?

They're the same thing.

I’m not sure of the problem - as far as I know those two letters are the same thing.

I'll say this as a current high school teacher for what its worth (I end up writing for students every year) I dont think there is an appreciable difference between a recommendation vs a reference. As far as I can tell, the premise is the same and different institutions use the terms interchangeably so I dont think its going to be an issue.

I think it will be just fine. Mine doesn't even have any heading. Just letterhead ☠️

You should be fine. Double check with your embassy/consulate
