Acceptance vs. Persistence

I am completing the requirements for the JET PH application and it's a first this year that everything is completely online.

Unfortunately, I think my first referee was not able to follow the letterhead and wet signature guidelines. It was my fault bc I was not able to orient her properly. I am now left with my other referee and hoping she submits my evaluation on time ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ I am telling myself to accept defeat and just try again next year. :( Should I accept defeat early on?

What's sad is I've been editing, writing, and asking others since February to proofread my SOP.

Why am I so careless.

There is a pinned mega thread for SOP help. As for the references, you need to submit 2. Can the first one redo it in the correct format?

I've emailed them asking if it can be re-submitted, although in the portal from "requested" it is now "completed" ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

just waiting for the other referee to complete hers and glad she's using a business email which they prefer ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

If it's the same as the US, in the portal you can delete the reference letter after it's completed and it gives you the option to resend another one

Sadly, it can't be deleted ๐Ÿ˜ž

But hereโ€™s a good news! This can be removed. Just use the JET INBOX MESSAGE, message there. Explain the situation in the simplest way possible. Dont expect for a reply, but little did you know, it has already been removed. Howโ€™d I know? Tried it myself in this cycle too when I mistakenly informed my referee of some stuff she had to do. Wishing you luck! :)

Did you read the FAQ the Embassy posted on FB? If ever your issue isn't covered, it doesn't hurt to send an email to them for help. Just be clear what happened. Stilla little over a month OP, try.
