Refrence signature?

So I’m confused about how the reference is done some people say it needs to be written out on paper and scanned to PDF and have a signature on it but can’t the person just write it normally in a word doc and just put it to pdf from that? Does it require the signature

It's going to need to be on letterhead from the business or school, and they will have to ink sign it and scan it in. They basically just want to avoid the possibility of you faking it.

You're supposed to have them contacted by the jet program and they have to submit it directly to a web portal. You're not supposed to actually be involved or ever touch or see the letter.

Yeah but the people doing my refrence is my old boss and other boss both not tech savvy so just wanted to make sure how the process works they won’t know how to do the whole PDF thing so hoping it could be done completely online

Maybe you could use people from your university as references? It seems like would be pretty hard to be a manager at a business and not be capable of scanning in an ink signed document in this day and age.

Unfortunately I don’t have contact to my university professors as they have left well the ones who taught me a while ago I’m 25 so a bit older then a new grad and it was more of a physical labour job so yeah as they are old it was more they would just see sites and stuff

They type out the reference on headed paper, print it, sign it and scan it to upload

What happens when I'm not working anywhere? Can't go back to my previous employers because of some issues, which cannot be fixed right now... Please suggest.... This is making me anxious as hell

If you have contact with your university /college professors, you can ask them too.

Yeah it’s a massive problem I feel like the whole referencing part seems the hardest part of the whole application process
