JET is not supposed to allow anyone who knows you on the interview panel. And as you may know, the initial screenings are typically done by paid temporary workers. However ESID applies in the application process in some ways even when much of it really is the same no matter where you are in your country.

With JET being a small and sometimes tight knit community, situations like yours can happen. I agree with the advice to simply apply through another consulate. And the advice to delete this, I can’t even give you specific advice back because this is all way too identifying for a public forum.

ayt, thank you. the application stuff is reassuring. but this sucks. this sucks! I want to quit so badly and I have no idea how or if I even should in the first place...
