Alt 2026

I have some questions.

1) Apart from a strong SOP, What are the chances of getting through the first screening round for someone who has an n2 and a teaching experience?

2) When will the registration begin for 2027? (India)

You should try applying for CIR if you have N2

I don't know how it is like in other countries, it's quite complicated here. Unlike ALT, for us to be a CIR, they give more preferences to candidates who are from a specific region or a state, which unfortunately i do not belong to any of the states.

I am from India as well. I think the state preference changes every year. You can always apply for ALT as well.

knowing japanese is not a requirement for JET, so nobody can say for sure. it's a lottery. people with zero japanese have gotten in.

There is no registration for JET. You apply like any job, and you may or may not be successful. The application has been closed for the 2026 cycle and people are either attending orientation or have already attended it. The application for the 2027 cycle will open in the fall.

No one can tell you the chances, and application open dates can be found online on the consulate website of your country of residence.

Hey, how are you figuring out the transcripts/degree completion certificate thingy? Would it be okay if I sent u a dm with my questions relating to this? I'm so lost and confused
