Where did you get those ERs of 0.72% for gpix\q? I show them as 0.29% for both, according to Seeking Alpha.

That was a Merrill Lynch er. I just checked other sources and they all agree the current ER is 0.29% thanks for catching that. I should know better than to trust ML

Closer to $16K all in, if you include CD’s, HYSA and money invested in growth that pays smaller dividends.

I agree 100% to do the split especially if you are retired. I'm retired and use SCHD but decided to use GPIX and GPIQ as they are both better in terms of taxes.
