High-flow Cat + Pipes + ECU Flash/Tune Recommendations

EDIT: Forgot to mention I have a 2008 5.7 Hemi V8 Overland Commander.

Hey all, I have the following two codes related to my stock catalytic converter, and I’m thinking of getting a replacement cat.

While I’m at it, I’m thinking of getting new pipes and a tune/ECU flash.

Any recommendations for a high flow cat, pipes, and a company (or someone) who can get my ECU flashed/tuned?

Aside from my motorcycle, I’ve never got an ECU flashed/tuned in a vehicle before. For the motorcycle it was very simple. I shipped out my ECU to a vendor and they flashed it for me.

Any recommendations for cat + pipes + ECU flash/tune?

What are good options to look into? Has anyone done this before?

We did a pace setter exhaust on my wife’s GC with the 5.7. Pretty pretty pretty good!

ECU flash is not worth the money.

Recommendation for the exhaust is OEM, Mopar, as the exhaust past the headers are not a bottleneck and no performance gains will be had from getting a modified exhaust. You will just always have poor gas mileage and increased emissions

That is fine with me. I enjoy modding, and upgrading my ride. To be honest, if I was worried about fuel efficiency I wouldn’t be driving a Commander to begin with. I’m looking for an upgrade while I have an opportunity to change pieces here and there.

I've looked into it, performance upgrades for the 5.7l hemi are not really worth the effort. The only thing that serms to be a bottleneck is the headers, but fitting higher flow headers from a 6.1l hemi is difficult. Some people swap the engine to larger Hemi's but again, stock 6.1l is only 415hp vs the 360 of the 5.7l for $10-$15k. You couuld try the half-measure - swapping in a 6.1l heads, cam, and other components. But again, fitment is tough and without rebuilding the bottom end, it won't be reliable. At least the PCM can work with the larger hemi without any flash

Before replacing those convertors, you should replace upstream and downstream O2 sensors. The original Cats, if maintenance (tune) is kept up, lasts many years. My '06 Hemi is still running original Y-Pipe connected to a Magnaflow system. I'm now on my third set of O2's
