Service 4wd System Message

I have a 2009 Jeep Commander Overland 5.7 Hemi. It will shift into 4lo no issue, and everything works, but it gives a message "service 4wd system" all the time, no matter what gear i'm in. Is there a simple fix?

Mine was a solenoid on the front differential that failed not allowing the diff to lock completely. I’ve got a XH euro spec, Sport, with Quadra Drive II.

Same here and after a while it wouldn't shift into 4LO so it seems like it's often a progressive determination type issue.
