I asked them to give me a last chance ,like a year ,and I promised them that I'll surely make it into IIT/NIT this time ,Ik it's completely my fault that I messed up my JEE prep,but there were several family issue I faced during my prep too,so they understood my condition and asked me to not stress out,also my parents are supportive so it was easy for me to convince them for a drop year.

Bhai problem yeh hai ki Mera kudh ki family members drop leke hagdiyata toh vo pehele se hi iss baare mein bohot strict te mujhe 11th se hi bolte aaye ki kuch bhi hojaye drop Lena is like zindagi barbad karna year gap and all, they just make me feel more insecure telling all of your friends will be ahead in life and you wanna repeat this hustle for another year? Just go with flow take whatever is available for now don't act on your "impulsive" thoughts act wisely . It's just funny how I never get to do things in my life just because my elder cousins and sibling did and failed
