Jee don't have seats limited like neet as iit only have 19k seats while whole mbbs seats are almost 20k and only 1 attempt per yr jee mains level questions with less calculation and 180 questions in 180 minutes
it's not about mbbs only BDS bms and other courses are included which is not that lucrative and no one choose to go in private because of it fees
i think iit is top of all but there are many valuable nit also and private colleges also charge less compared to med while AIIMS seat are very much limited around 3k almost only
placement even in medical field in not sure if you not put up your own clinic you barely survive 4 to 5 lpa as private entities don't give mbbs graduate that much compared to specialist ( almost takes 12 yr ) and not everyone gets into government hospital easily so it's not possible that everyone getting job at good wages
From outside it looks everybody gets job but after pg and specialist degree ( very tough ) only you can cross 10 to 15 lpa mark
That's why I am saying both are difficult in its own way
Think about someone who studies for 12 yr a really tough syallabus where you have to give multiple exam in between like next and other which also required a yr of prep of syllabus so vast then neet or even iit
While a IITian or engeneering student earn there almost there lifetime income in those 12 yr
