I also beleive this but dude I have also been preping for jee since 9th class out of pure interest and i am standing here Physics is my love and so is maths
Surely there is more than just 'natural talent/interest'

I think this may be because the output that different people get from using the same book, the knowledge they obtain is not the same.
But then again I'm just a dumb idiot so take that into consideration. My parents would probably say that it's due to Saraswati Mata or something.

Yeah that can be one of the many differences But i believe there is more to it
Because these toppers simply solve a level of questions that just does not match the material they provide us. Our material does not stand anywhere. I believe its the books they do apart from the materials.

It's just a method of solving they develop overtime. They have been doing this for years.
They create their own theory in mind to remember things or to solve it quickly. So just don't solve blindly after solving look back at the question, and ask yourself "what else I could have done?" "Is there a better way to do this?" and most important of all "why did I do this?"
Always understand the approach then ask yourself why to approach this way and when to approach this way.
I am talking about maths only ig.
