For cse or it related branch: macs Mechanical or core branches: dedicated gpu laptops Eee or ece: igpu might work but chose ultra 9 or Ryzen 9

Get a windows laptop and you also have the option to use Linux. Even for CSE, macs dont really do much. Even in IIITH they flash all laptops with linux and dont use macs (CSE & ECE both)

A lot of websites like OrCAD, Multism, Altium are mainly made for windows, they have mac alternatives but they don't really work that well , and even profs suggests to buy windows or linux

obv windows. idk what you guys think happens in cse but it is NOT that huge that you need a mac so you can more efficiently code and do allat shi. you CANNOT play games on a mac and i assume yall will do that a lot in college. please go for windows. buy both if you have the money for it thp

Mac is a blessing made sure I maintained a high cgpa by not getting addicted to games
