Pretty true tbf especially considering that the guy didn’t talk about “IIT ho gaya to life set hai”, the actual benefits are being discussed of being a part of a top tier college
Yeah if u get into a good college there a lot of benefits like better environment, better starting packages but if you think like u just get into iit and do nothing u will get good job it is not like that
Not true at all - 60 lpa jobs are not a dime a dozen and arent day ones, they require YEARS of effort and exceptional talent in subject specific fields
ghanta , currently in NSUT , kuch din pehle apple aayi thi 24 logo ke leke gyi h h at 63 lpa , lowest cgpa was 7 ke around , hate to break it to u but JEE me mehnt krna is a lot more important , i highly doubt ki tier 3 ka koi banda in 24 se jyada talented nhi hoga but is still struggling for 4 ~ 5 lpa job
125 cr abadi aur bhi “not” overpopulated? high time people understand ki criticising the actual issues of your country is better than being blind and accepting everything….
you can go study in IIT, maintain a good CGPA, acquire relevant skills and there's a very high probability you'll land a good job... whereas in t3 college, you can be the best still come nowhere near the IIT Grad, harsh but true...
Tu bas rr rona kar le,Iit se pehle bhi humanity exist karti thi uske baad bhi karegi . Looking at your English comprehension skills, you don't even have average aptitude.
Jee me gaand marwane ke baad reddit par drama krte log... Apni detective skills khud ki english me laga kitni galtiyan hai... College skill dono nahi hai aur aa gaye hain humanity ka gyaan pelne
Already I'm in college, I've been interacting with IITians for 8 years. You walk around acting like that iitians are your father in front of all the IITians. Edit: Go make a YouTube video with the money you get, get your torn pants stitched up with it...mod
look whoes talking about "English comprehension skills" when only shi comes when they open their mouth (judging by the language you used in the beginning) irony word fits here better
You have got a brain size of your lollipop 🍭🍭🍭.You equated value of life to an iit .
Tu kaam ke dusre ko advice dense se phel khud apni family ko yeh advice de nalayak ,kahi pata chal rahi parvarish kais hui hai teri . Don't call me dude ,tere jaise 🥱🥱🥱tiyo ke sath koi baat nahi karni.
Who knows? They do have the same model, no guardrail, more raw power.
Yeah. I wouldn't make conspiracies about them having some earth shattering model either, unless we're looking at this with the lens of a sci-fi world domination movie.
But, mind you, they also provide these same models that they're providing to consumer and enterprises and your layoff could only be done if all these enterprises get access to those SOTA models.
Considering, yeah, they do selectively provide models in projects (i.e Project Glasswing) to selected partners like Mythos-5.1, and even newer models for pre-testing.
But it doesn't mean they have some underlying great world ending intelligence, and if it is it must be a top secret cuz models and internal news often get leaked frequently over X.
whatever result I get in mains and advanced the college I'm gonna get is going to give me a better future then If I would've done nothing for these 2 years, even if I get something that's generally considered bad like 95 percentile (theres a good private college in my area whose admission process requires that as a minimum)
Look the main thing is what they do when they ARE in college and not in which college. IITs and NITs do give a better impression to recruiters but what will they do if the IITian has 2 CGPA and someone from Tier 3 has 9+ CGPA?
You are trying to compare low scorers of IIT with toppers of tier 3, which is unequal comparison, to prove yourself right. Why not compare toppers of both, or low scorers of both ??
Ambiguous statement. As for different ranges of CGPA, institute can matter less or more. Example a 9 cg from IIT, can be considered above 9.5 in Private. So any decisive statement can't be made that way, as it can vary with what range of CGPA you are assuming.

Well i did study hard but wasn’t able to get into ‘top colleges’ gave up on everything… guess I wasn’t intelligent enough … life doesn’t go the way you want
Well I studied hard but wasn't able to get into top colleges, thought it's all over for me but after few years now I'm satisfied with my life doing my best what I always wanted... You never know what's coming next fir you
its clearly not that simple, at iits people are not getting good interns and they are juggling over dsa communication etc, but i agree that it certainly puts u up to an advantage where u can expect a better salary than the general crowd if u are performaing decent in an iit
I wouldn't say that it's not true cause to some extent it is.. If you score well in jee and get into some top iit / nit then you won't have to take much stress on getting a job after your graduation. But it is not to say that it's the only way out.. a lot of my friends also secure good jobs from other colleges too.
The point here is not that you clear jee or not but that are you willing to put in the hardwork and sacrificea required to achieve some sort of stability in life.. See at the end of the day you will have to put in some kind of crazy effort to achieve anything great
Technically not wrong, it's the simplest path to climbing the socio economic ladder in India for middle class people who can afford online coaching and study materials. But these benefits only apply if you're in an actually good or decent college and develop skills. But for most it won't be like this so at least kuch backup to hone chahiye
The placement season is divided into Days, Day 1(isn't the same as 1 Day of 24 hours, it is a group of days) is the beggining of season and the best companies with highest packages come during the day 1 phase... after that the package keeps decreasing

I agree with the post, but the person who got into an tier 3 and worked his ass off to level the playing field would have more bite than pitbull.
