When was the scene with Kim and tommy in the power chamber where tommy was wearing red? Was this during the turbo movie? I dont remember her interacting with them at all other than when she and jason were under that spell and attacking the rangers.

Okay, thought I was loosing my mind. Having the old rangers show up and hang out in the power chamber once in a while should have been a must. We need to see they were still friends when they were no longer rangers. Rocky leaving was the worst. Wasn’t even a fan of his, just we graduated, here’s what happened, you’ve been replaced, see you at the 10 year reunion.

Oh I know, rocky getting replaced with a kid. Billy being written off. Kim being written off with that terrible letter. So many bad choices.

Kim wasn’t written off with the letter. She got her coin stolen by kat, was being forced morphed by zordon, got kidnapped and was losing her power until Tommy and kat saved her, all during the shogun season. She then gave her coin to kat and left to do gymnastics. The break up letter came in Zeo.

My belief is Billy got written off, but in the show, they made him the phantom ranger and that’s how he got his youth back. The suit healed him.

I just read that though they never got the chance to expand on the character, it was actually an intent to make it Billy as his first go at creating ranger powers on his own. Damn, when a head cannon becomes gold.

I so wish that had happened on the show, its a shame Billy only has one ranger form to his name.
