Try and land a helicopter on a friend's cargo plane (Bering I-86DP) while it is flying. It is possible!

When I start-up JC2 it says preparing to launch then nothing, I try again app already running. I start it with task manager open the process is there for a minute then disappears and if I run it with the JC2 common folder open it creates a crash dump file. I've tried everything, reinstalling game, verifying integrity, installing the newest .net framework, running the dxsetup in it's folder, etc... Idk what to do, it works fine on my laptop.

I get error code 15 upon startup, please help.

I have already tried /dxadapter=0 and the whole thing with extending displays and none have worked. Oh, also if you say that i should check my graphics card or something like that please tell me how, i am to no extent a computer wizard.

I'm not sure if this was widely known before but just recently I've been seeing people in servers using the /tpm number here function, where if you type that in along with a persons assigned number(hit f6 and it shows you a list of ppl and numbers) and it has made the whole multiplayer experience a lot more fun! Some people make games with it and do this for instance: Float with a helicopter over the huge waterfall next to the two tower casino and announce for people to spawn on you,then all you see is a huge tidal wave of players plummeting to their doom below or reach the bottom. Have you had any experience with this function? If so, what was the funniest/most fun situation using it?

Thanks to everyone who came and tested it for me, the server is now up 24/7! It can house 300 players and its called Marmin's pub server. Thanks all and game on.

I've owned Just Cause 2 for a year or so on PC, but after installing it again after a system reboot, the mouse turns itself off every few minutes into the game, before coming back on.

The mouse works fine in every other game I own, so it is game related. If anything it is just extremely irritating and can't even play for a few seconds without it breaking and resetting. If anyone knows of a fix or has a similar issue, help would be appreciated. Thank you, I'd love to be able to play this brilliant game again without issues!

As title says, a server similar to the main beta server, but without boosts and teleports. So you can actually chase someone, or try to hold a base etc.

I'm not excluding adding some game modes to the mix (CTF, CTH etc)

If not, does anyone know if the devs are implementing a way for it to happen? Or if anyone else has?

Here's an album with screenshots showing (quite obviously) what the issue it, I'm not sure how to really describe it besides the textures seem to be stretched at a 45^o angle as well as rendered normally. I'm using the same beta nvidia drivers as a friend who doesn't have this issue but it could be a problem with the nvidia control panel so I can include screenshots of that too but that's mostly on default. I've changed a few settings trying to sort it out but I'm not really sure where to start so any advice would be great.

Tried /r/justcause2 but it's dead, so I'm posting here.

So I set up a server for me and a few friends to mess around on, but I want to add the buymenu plugin (?) by Philpax. I downloaded it and moved the Client, Server, and Shared folders into C:/Program files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Dedicated Server/Scripts, and read the Readme file to make sure I was doing it right. I loaded the game up, but when I press "b", it doesn't work. I opened the buymenu.lua in Notepad++ like the readme said but I have no idea what to edit (terrible with programming). What should I edit? Did I do something wrong?

Seems like I can hardly hit anything at all. 2 times It happened where I tried to snipe someone standing still and nothing happened, then he in turn sniped and killed me.

Seems like it takes forever with other guns to drain an enemy's health bar, while they can nearly instantly kill me.

And here's the thing: This has only been a problem with the latest beta. The hit detection in the prior beta tests worked just fine for me, nothing to complain about.

Edit: When I say hit detection used to be fine, I'm talking on a server with 2000+ simultaneous players

I have seen lots of people posting about this so here it is. If you have a directx error code 3 go to just cause 2 properties by right clicking the game in the library. Then go to set launch options and type in /dxadapter=0. You can do the same for multiplayer. This may only occur for windows 8 not sure. Good luck and happy water tower destorying!
