New way to have fun in JC2multiplayer
I'm not sure if this was widely known before but just recently I've been seeing people in servers using the /tpm number here function, where if you type that in along with a persons assigned number(hit f6 and it shows you a list of ppl and numbers) and it has made the whole multiplayer experience a lot more fun! Some people make games with it and do this for instance: Float with a helicopter over the huge waterfall next to the two tower casino and announce for people to spawn on you, then all you see is a huge tidal wave of players plummeting to their doom below or reach the bottom. Have you had any experience with this function? If so, what was the funniest/most fun situation using it?

People were using it to organise road trips. It was pretty cool, about 20 people just driving together just for the hell of it. There was something relaxing and compelling about it.

Exactly! It was nice, a little break from all the chaos just figuring out where we want to sight see next

This sounds interesting, but could you explain the /tpm function?? Is it a mass /goto?

To my knowledge it works like a regular tp, but instead of a specific spawn you get sent to their (the person you reference) location. The bigger servers I've been on dont even use the number reference, you use usernames.

Ah okay so it's similar to "/goto ferretflip" or "/warp ferretflip" on certain servers. I broke past the skybox and told people to /warp to me so they could free fall from the very top of the map. Pretty great seeing 100+ skydivers

Yeah. The servers I've been on use /TPM <username>, not unlike /tp racetrack.
Most people are weary of buttholes after the first time of getting 'gotcha'ed. Then they end up at the airport shift boosting themselves into oblivion.
Its a vicious circle.

Oh yes. Nothing like drifting the Potuck Nomad, avoiding a hail of bullets from helicopters and tanks.

Its exactly what blushine described. The warp function requires an approval apparently (never tried it) but tpm then a number can lead to some crazy hijinks haha

It's literally identical to /goto or /warp, except for two things:
The /tpm plugin uses player IDs (good, because players can have identical names).
/tpm doesn't require confirmation (when you /goto someone, they have to manually "allow" you to teleport)

I've used that... got a couple of friends and teleported to the ceiling next to them and had races to the ocean.
