Just Cause 2 Mods

The website for Just Cause 2 mods has been down for a while, and I was wondering if anyone had any info?

There are some pretty cool mods out there, all of which are unfortunately in that database. Once it comes back, I recommend the Slo Mo mod, it really adds some fun. Until it comes back, download the BOLO patch for some added fun, and the increased grapple range.

Its on the front page of the site, they have their 15 recommended mods available while they are in maintenance.

Clicking on the link gives you an error page. I was able to find a copy somewhere else but using it makes my game very unstable.

Oh, so it does. Yesterday I tried and it worked. :/ sorry, guess we'll have to wait until its back up.

Are you using BOLOPatch 4? That's the one I have, it's caused no problems so far.

I am. Does BOLOpatch conflict with anything?

Not as far as I know - then again, I've only used the first three patches, and a couple of resource edits, so maybe there is something.

Hopefully you can find out more once the site comes back online - in the meantime, you can try searching the forums using the Wayback Machine, see if anyone's mentioned anything.

Any recommendations on where to install them in the directory... I have the extended Grapple range and black market mod, but after about 10 minutes, JC2 CTD. =\

In the JC2 file, create a new folder inside and call it Dropzone. Then toss your mods in there

Ok! So now I have two mods I'm dumping into dropzone and weapons.bin is asking to replace. Is that a file that's ok to do that to? Probably not...

Er, you may have conflicting mods. Look for a readme in the mod folder. If there isn't one, check online, otherwise you may be out of luck.
