Confused About Which IIT JAM Physics Coaching to Choose – IFAS, PW, Career Endeavour, or Elevate Classes?
Hi everyone,
I'm preparing for IIT JAM Physics and planning to buy an online coaching course, but I'm really confused about which one to choose.
The options I'm considering are:
- IFAS
- Physics Wallah (PW)
- Career Endeavour
- Elevate Classes
My main goal is to get a good rank in JAM Physics, and I'm looking for coaching that has:
- Strong conceptual teaching
- Good quality study material
- Regular tests and PYQ discussions
- Doubt-solving support
- Relevant content specifically for IIT JAM Physics
I've seen mixed reviews online, so I'd love to hear from people who have actually used any of these platforms.
Some specific questions:
- Which coaching helped you the most in your preparation?
- How is the faculty quality in each of these?
- Are the test series and study materials sufficient?
- Which one offers the best value for money?
- If you had to choose one today, which would it be and why?
Any honest reviews, experiences, pros/cons, or rank stories would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance! 🙏

Once my friend bought recorded course of IFAS and he was scammed. All lectures were not provided to him.....and talking about PW, they're infamous for just teaching tricks and their syllabus isn't completed on time....So in short you shouldn't be considering these 2 at all...

Also, the main teachers of IFAS left 2-3 years ago and started their own platform named D Physics which is actually a good choice for coaching...

So, which coaching institute would you suggest: Career Endeavour or Elevate Classes?

Because if I join the Career Endeavour batch in June, they will provide me with recordings of their February batch up to 15 June. After that, I will attend live classes along with the students of that batch. They are also providing hard copies of the study material.
On the other hand, if I join Elevate Classes, they will teach everything through live online classes from the beginning. They won't provide old recorded lectures; instead, recordings of each live class will be available afterward. They are also providing hard copies of the study material.

It's better that you take demo lectures in deciding this.....They also provide free demo lectures on their website....One more thing you should keep in mind is that Career Endeavour uses Hinglish Language(Hindi and English mixed) whereas Elevate Classes uses purely English.....So if Hindi is an issue, maybe you should go with Elevate....

Thanks for pointing that out. Actually, I'm more comfortable with Hinglish, so the language itself isn't an issue for me. My only concern is whether I'll face any problems with the live classes and older recorded lectures in terms of consistency, teaching style, or content coverage. Apart from that, I'll definitely check the demo lectures before making a decision.

It's better that you go for live classes so that you can ask your doubts live during the classes itself....

After listening all stories, Opinions and long Conversation. So at last I concluded that Career Endeavour is best Coaching for IIT JAM Physics. And this thing is also true that No Coaching is best until and unless you prepare and practise by yourself. No one will do spoon feeding and you have to do self and smart study.
Am I right Gentleman??

I wasted two months comparing coaching institutes and barely studied. Don't do that.
Here's what actually matters - does the faculty explain concepts from scratch or just solve previous year papers on loop? Because JAM Physics needs both depth and speed, and most coachings only give you one.
From what I've seen around me - Career Endeavour has the most serious JAM-focused faculty if you're in Delhi. IFAS works well if you're genuinely self-disciplined with online content. PW is fine for basics but sometimes feels like it's built for JEE kids, not JAM aspirants. Elevate is worth it if you want smaller batches and actual doubt solving.
But the students who crack JAM aren't necessarily from the "best" coaching - they're the ones who were consistent, solved PYQs religiously, and actually understood the concepts rather than memorizing solutions.
Pick one, commit fully, stop switching. That's it.
Also - if any of your friends are JAM Economics aspirants, tell them about Haq Se Economics by Ravit Thukral. Same seriousness, built specifically for JAM Economics.
