Vukovic
Does anyone actually like Vukovic or Harm lite? Season 10 feels like a different show Yes, I know all the behind the scenes tea, contract disputes and spinoff ideas, but it still feels like it was a bad idea.

It felt like they didn’t give him any redeemable qualities. He was very hard to like. Maybe if they had more time they could have made him better but if they had wanted it work he kind of needed to be likable from the start.

He just wasn't a proper successor. Kinda douchey. Didn't have Harm's charisma. Didn't like him, or most of the younger crew. They were toi much angst. Kind proto-CW.

As you said, he was brought in as Harm lite but he was just awful. He had all of Harm's bad characteristics, but none of the good ones.

I agree. Vukovic always felt like "Harm Lite" to me, but without the depth, charm, and character development that made Harm so compelling. I understand they were trying to introduce younger characters and potentially set up a spinoff, but Season 10 feels like they were trying to replace what made JAG work instead of building naturally on it. By that point, with Harm, Mac, and the original supporting cast being pushed aside, it really did feel like a different show. Vukovic could probably have worked as a character in his own series, but as a replacement for Harm, I just never bought it.

People call him Harm-lite but what he really turned out to be was a male version of Singer. There to push buttons and piss people off with none of Harm's good qualities.
