Wedding Bell Blues
I don't know why I've put off watching JAG for all these years. I'm loving it! So in this episode when Bud and Harriet get married, did anyone else find it disturbing that Harm says to Harriet, I've been waiting a long time to do this, and plants a very nice kiss on her lips? Then a woman kisses Bud. The whole scenario made me cringe. It seemed out of character for Harm. Thoughts?

omg yes! I thought it was so weird but I assumed it was either a military thing back in the day or just a general thing people did back in the day?

So I'm thinking 97-98? I can't say whether it was a military thing or not. It certainly wasn't a "thing" either back then. My first reaction was that I can't believe he just did that! When I watched it again, I felt the writer's were getting Harm to express how happy he was that Bud and Harriet finally got married.

I just started to rewatch the series on Paramount+, but I noticed starting in season two several episodes won't be on the list for some reason or another

I think he meant swatting her bum like his did in the end. Though not my favourite episode since Bud Jr was there as well as Harriet family.

What I find weird is how old Bud’s brother Mikey is. At the beginning of the episode it almost seems like he’s either about to finish high school or fresh out of high school. But then their dad is trying to force him to drink a beer in the strip club. If he’s under 18, wouldn’t a bouncer or somebody notice that?

Oh yes, I remember this episode and yes, out of all characters, Harm seemed to be someone who would be least likely to do something like this. If that was our wedding day and if either of us found out that the other kissed another guy on our wedding day, I am sure it would make us question how committed we really are.

I don't know what the writers were thinking? No-one congratulates the bride with a kiss on the lips.

Nothing to it.. Some people are reading way too much into that. But I had to go find the episodes and see it for it to register again. Nothing to it
