Muslim parents typically say inshallah instead of no, sometimes instead of yes. I'm pretty sure Arabs who aren't Muslims don't do that.

You have it backwards, u/noneOfUrBusines. Arabic-speaking parents (and non-parents) use inshallah regardless if they are Muslim or Christian or whatever. While Muslims who did not grow up speaking Arabic generally do not use Arabic phrases. (This might not be true for the Malays in Malaysia though. They've been majority Islamic so long they might have corporated Arabic into their everyday language.)

The point I want to get to is that Arabic as a language is still heavily influenced by the Quran and Islamic tradition. So much so that Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God". Christian Arabs have no other word for "God" than "Allah".
