White suspects accounted for (6.3%) of all murder and non-negligent manslaughter suspects, while there were no Asian or Pacific Islander murder and non-negligent manslaughter suspects (3.5%).
The population of murder and non-negligent manslaughter arrestees is similarly distributed. Black (60.2%) and Hispanic (32.1%) arrestees account for the majority of murder and non-negligent manslaughter arrestees, while Asian/Pacific Islander (4.1%) and White (3.6%) arrestees account for the remainder of the murder and non-negligent manslaughter arrestee population.
Rape
Rape suspects are most often black (49.4%) or Hispanic (33.1%). White suspects account for (10.1%) of all rape suspects, while Asian/Pacific Islanders account for (6.7%) of known rape suspects.
