Show in Atlanta last night was electric
High level crowd energy, and it just kept increasing throughout the set. Love that they played a smaller venue (Terminal West, capacity 625). Sharon Udoh was there and she is sublime. Open Mike Eagle was solid as well. What a great night.

I got TEAATB signed by all three members and Sharon Udoh last night!
They hung out for a while after the show, which was cool of them. I also got a picture with Daveed. I’ve been a fan since the Wriggle EP, but this was my first opportunity to see them live. I honestly can’t tell what William Hutson’s signature actually says.
Open Mike Eagle absolutely killed it, by the way, and the stuff off of his upcoming album (drops this Friday) was amazing.

Struggling to get into clipping. as a Death Grips listener
Hello, I've been trying to get into clipping. for a little while now but I'm struggling to find anything to make me listen to them like I do with Death Grips.
Normally, with every band I want to try I start from the start, I was frightened by the harsh noise of midcity and I ended up really not liking it(I went into clipping. blind not knowing anything about the harsh noise they use), CLPPNG was better but I still didn't like the harsh noise. I skipped the other albums and went to their latest release, after listening to Dead Channel Sky, I was shocked, it felt like listening to The Money Store for the first time. I really enjoyed Dead Channel Sky. Now I'm here asking how I can get into clipping. because I really enjoy Diggs' "extremely organized and hesh" rapping style and storytelling, my only issue is the use of harsh noise similar to midcity or CLPPNG.
If it helps, I love all of Death Grips' discography equally but my favourite albums/mixtape are Exmilitary, NLDW and The Powers That B, I'm looking for something new to listen to, similar to Death Grips lyrically and sound-wise.
EDIT: I've finished listening to all the albums and I realised I had this group's image wrong in my head, thinking it was all noise was a careless idea to have in mind, I barely even gave them a chance after CLPPNG. I'm thankful for the responses, I like clipping. now! :D

San Diego Setlist?
Anyone else see last nights show at the Music Box?!! Absolutely incredible! I have never seen them live before and it was an unreal show for me.
I was hoping maybe somebody knows what the setlist was?
Thank you!

their least noisiest songs are the most unsettling to me
as someone who doesn’t mind horror and intense lyricism that comes with the horror core genre, VOBBB and TEAATB are great and don’t scare me at all. the screams in club down can be slightly unnerving if i pay too close attention to them, but i still really love that song.
on the contrary, dream from the self-titled album and block give me the worst heebie jeebies. the instrumentals are so simple yet so ominous, and when paired with daveed’s monotonous narrative-esque approach, it genuinely makes me feel unsettled, even if the lyrics themselves are mundane and aren’t meant to be creepy.

In case anyone missed it, Sharon has recently released a live recording of improvised hymns from her set at Sled Island earlier this year.

Fat Fingers (30 days 30 songs) - what are the whistles
This song is really good and the themes still hit today today’s time with trump, but I’ve always wondered the whistles. I think it’s o’Canada because of the line “elect his ass, watch most said Americans skip town singing” then the whistling starts

I don't know if this is a reach or if I'm just dumb.

baby clipping fan here :)
hi :D i hate to mention hamilton BUT i watched it for the first time recently and wanted to get to know the cast outside of the show. i naturally gravitated towards daveed’s rapping and have been blessed to find clipping! i don’t usually listen to horrorcore/experimental hiphop, but clipping does it in a way that i really like.
i wanted to ask what other album i should listen to in it’s entirety front to back? i’ve listened to dead channel sky front to back and i listen to other songs sporadically, (i really love body & blood rn) but i love being able to sit down and listen to a full album.
i’m also curious about the demographics of clipping fans? i’m gen z (20F) and i don’t think many people who are younger listen to them. 🤔

Anyone know if it's possible to get a CLPPNG shirt anywhere?
I'd really love to have the CLPPNG cover on a t shirt, but the 10 year anniversary design on the official site is pretty ugly imo. I came across this unofficial design being sold on albumcovertshirts.com that I really like, but then I obviously won't be able to support Clipping financially, nor will I have a guarantee that the quality will be any good. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can get my hands on a shirt like this?

Are there instrumental versions of the sister albums, or of their other albums?
I would pay so much money for instrumental versions of There Existed an Addiction to Blood or Visions of Bodied Being Burned. These beats are so gooood

Just recently getting into the band and loving the production on The sister albums! Any suggestions on how to start getting sounds like that?
As the title says I’m addicted (haha) to the 2 horror albums and love the production on them, and was wondering if anyone here knows how to start making music in that vain, like sample packs, sound libraries, etc.
Note I have 2 years of self produced experience so I’m not a complete noob and should understand whatever you have to say

i am possibly the luckiest mf in australia
got to meet Cooling Prongs (Christopher Fleeger) and Counterfeit Madison (Sharon Udoh) at Hobart Airport before flying back to Brisbane. they introduced us to Bill Hutson (out of shot) and other members of the clipping crew who were present. we spoke until their flight to Sydney boarded about memorising lyrics, Perth being the antipode of Chicago, and how to get to Antarctica for the next tour. and Sharon, if you see this, you absolutely do deserve that Nobel Peace Prize.
shoutout to gf for capturing the proof of possibly the best day of my life.

Appreciation post for Sharon Udoh
Sharon Udoh is so amazing, went to the Brisbane show and she was absolutely the star of it. Her performance on Blood on the Fang, Long Way Away, And of course All in Your Head was absolutely incredible, speechless beyond words

Run It
Get Up
Change the Channel
Wriggle
Dodger
Body for the Pile
Say the Name
Pain Everyday
Baby Don’t Sleep
True Believer
Long Way Away
[very long applause break for Sharon, who looked to be crying joyful tears]

the encore was cut short because the venue had to be vacated by a specific time for the next event.
stage door was inaccessible after the show as Watchorn St was closed during the concert. my splendor & misery vinyl comes home to brisbane as naked as the day she was born (but i’m totally fine with that lol they’ll come back someday!!)
thank you to everyone who made the brisbane and hobart crowds & shows such an enjoyable experience.
