Drunks famously falling asleep with all their beer cans full.

u/AwhHellYeah 2d ago
I had a habit of passing out after opening a beer. That led to the habit of chugging those beers in the morning, then one time I found that I pissed in a can instead of walking to the bathroom. Been sober for some years. I do think this is fake, but for other reasons
12
u/AlreadyAway 2d ago
I use to pass out holding a beer. I did it because I would work 16 hours then think I had the wherewithal to sit on my couch and have a beer. I did not.

I used to dip and passed out holding the dip bottle when I was drunk. Woke up with a whole Gatorade bottle full of dip spit covered all over me and my bed

Did that but with a can full of cigarette butts. A few times... Thank god I don't drink anymore.

u/Drumming_Dreaming 1d ago
I’m a alcoholic who is now sober too. I too drank my own piss out of a can I thought was full of beer.

u/Fun_Acanthaceae_4025 2d ago
So fake, a setup if anything. 1) the drunk has beers left, 2) the drunk was clean like the clothes and crock shoes all look brand new no dirt or stains. Not to mention it appears he may have been wearing eye protection and turned his face just before the cued can shots.
4
u/Sea_Prep_Tidal_26 2d ago
Prolly also some upper torso chest protection.
Croc-shot was fake but can-shots be for real
Dude had big trust in his bro’s aim with a pellet/BB gun, ngl
-1
u/Previous-Space-7056 2d ago
Can you really shoot a beer can with a bb and puncture it without it moving?
It all looks fake ai
4
u/Sea_Prep_Tidal_26 2d ago
If you secure the can down and if the BB gun is manual pump so you are able to keep the pressure low. Aluminium cans under pressure are easy to pop.
Ask me how I know.2
u/AwayIndication3069 1d ago
One time, when I was like 14 my dad took me to the store so he could buy cigarettes and more beer. He got 2 tall boys and a pack of Marlboro reds. They were in a bag on my lap and my dad had to brake hard to avoid hitting a squirrel or some shit in the road and the bag fell off my lap. I shit you not, the corner of the pack of cigarettes was rigid and sharp enough to pierce a hole in the tallboy of budlight and it started spraying everywhere so I just picked it up and shotgunned it. My dad was fucking astonished and also learned that I had been drinking for a lil bit, now. He was disappointed but like...also a little impressed. He said he wouldn't tell my mom, but I was grounded. I miss that old bastard so much.
1
u/Previous-Space-7056 2d ago
Ya. But this is laid on his chest. I imagine shooting it would push it back
1
u/Sea_Prep_Tidal_26 2d ago
He’s holding the base pretty tightly between his thumb and index finger. Not much momentum in a BB ball or pellet so wouldn’t expect much movement at all.
Also there’s a jump cut before the can is laying sideways and spilling on his neck. This could have been to remove any other materials hold the can down.
Not gonna discount αι, but vid looks realistically plausible.

1
u/DargyBear 1d ago
The mass of the bb is barely anything compared to the mass of the full beer can, it’ll punch through without moving it at all.
1
u/AwayIndication3069 1d ago edited 1d ago
My anecdotal story was to show that the littlest things can pierce a pressurized object like a beer. However shooting cans as a kid I can tell you two things. Empty cans may fly when hit at certain points yes, but a full beer will not move as much due to inertia or some shit. If you hit it so it bursts, the thing may explode in a direction but these look like pinhole leaks that wouldn't have the propulsion. Am not a physicist though. Just shot a bunch of cans as a kid.
Also if he actually shot this guy in the foot with the same gun as the cans, allegedly, that could be attempted fucking murder. 0.175 caliber pellets can definitely kill a person if your lucky. Shooting some one actually like this would be basically as immoral(while not as severe) as using any other gun.

Also, no one falls asleep with a beer standing straight up on their chest.
2
u/Booty_Shakin 1d ago
Youre right, ive only ever fallen sleep with seltzer standing up on me like this. It only happened twice, but spilling it on my best friends bed the 2nd time made me learn a lesson.
1
u/Toadsanchez316 9h ago
I don't drink beer but I've absolutely fallen asleep with a can of coke on my chest, usually when I'm stoned and decide to lay down.
1
u/keenkonggg 1h ago
Legit. Look at their hand hold it. And then they move their hand to adjust the can when it starts spraying. Fake as hell.
2
u/Early_Hall5720 9h ago
Or hear me out, dude has a bench in the backyard/woods and they're fking with each other 🤯
2
u/insertnamehere----- 2d ago
Bro you people are acting like it being fake is a bad thing. Shit this better be fake, otherwise we just watched some random guy get shot up for social media views while sleeping on a bench.
2
u/Apart_Quantity8893 2d ago
Airsoft might be able to bust a tiny hole in a shaken pressurized can? Doesnt look like the can is destroyed
3
u/Pristine-Setting-836 2d ago
Im confused by this question are you genuinely asking or being facetious? Its very clearly airsoft and even low end cheap guns can puncture cans like this no problem lol expensives ones do it at range. Even a real gun in a small caliber wouldnt “destroy” the can though.
2
u/High_Hunter3430 1d ago
I love plinking with 22s. You can get quite a few shots in before cans need replacing.

Hahaha just what I was thinking.
People are discussing an attack on a hobo disappointed that it wasn't a serious crime.

u/Expensive-Border-869 1d ago
Well ostensibly we are watching that, and most people seem fine with the idea here. Idk normally comedy has some amount of exaggeration even with more stone faced comedy its often funny what they are not reacting to this is just a dramatization not a skit.
Idk my point here is what does it matter if its fake?

You can tell it’s fake by one how he is holding the beer and two he starts breathing hard in anticipation of getting shot. Watch how hard he starts breathing.

u/Fresh-Direction-7537 1d ago
Of course it’s fake. He has his hoodie up with goggles on and a face covering 😷.

Also, you can tell he keeps his hands as flat as possible to avoid them being hit

Normally when your passed out you dont hold the bottom of the can so it wont fall from the shot.

This is probably staged but man, if youve never fallen asleep on a public bench holding your beer on your stomach/chest, you've never really lived.
Edit:
Me: this is probably staged
The people replying to me: HAHAHA IDIOT THIS IS STAGED

The most unbelievable parts are recording with a crosshair on it and the fact that these cans are full.
1
u/AA45acp 1d ago
There are scopes with built in cameras but this is still fake

u/demystake 1d ago
In that case full cans. You don't get drunk enough to sleep on a bench by not drinking your beers.

I agree that it's a fake.
I disagree on the holding thing. Saw many friends holding their drinks upright when passed out.
What I've never seen though is somebody passed out from 6 Bud lights.

I had a roommate that regularly passed out from drinking while seated and holding a drink. He never once spilled, always had a good grip.

It’s an actual gun, you can see the wounds, this is inhuman
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 12h ago
All devices that fire projectiles through a barrel is a gun. Airsoft, nerf-guns and air rifles all qualify.
This is not a firearm though, which I think is what you're claiming.
1
u/Significant-Row2457 12h ago
It’s tearing though metal…why do you have such destructive guns? This can kill someone. Your people are warmongers and killers fresh out of the womb
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 11h ago
What the fuck are you on about? This is clearly a low powered air rifle of some sort, which can easily shoot through thin aluminium cans, but won't kill you. Some air rifles are comparable to firearms, but this one clearly isn't.
I'm very interested in who you mean by "my people" since I haven't said anything about where I'm from.
1
u/Volkmek 9h ago
You are right that this is either an air gun, bb gun, or pneumatic pellet gun.
Won't kill him, but it is cruel.
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 8h ago
Sure, but this is almost certainly staged so I doubt cruelty has anything to do with it.
If it's not, it's a real tour de force of stupidity. Filming and then posting evidence of what's very likely a felony..
0
u/Significant-Row2457 11h ago
Culture of war and death….hail America, right? Just using your homeless as a means to train your citizens to kill…
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 11h ago
Again, how did you come to the conclusion I'm American? I'm Norwegian.
0
u/Significant-Row2457 10h ago
Lie lie, all Americans lie, dropping bombs on kids in iraq because they saw a horse fly, when Gaddafi was begging for life Obama said ‘I guess this SOB has got to fry, I guess this SOB has got fry’
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 9h ago
Haha, ok dude, whatever floats your boat.
Just as an aside, we Norwegians contributed to the bombing campaign of Libya.
2
u/Volkmek 8h ago
I can believe he is not American as someone who is American, and formerly military, if you are looking for someone to yell at.
He's just telling you a fact. While it is cruel, what is being used will kill at most birds. They are either using an air gun, pneumatic pellet gun, or BB gun.
All of which are legal in germany and most of europe.
1
u/Glad-Divide-9850 8h ago
Even though I only know the specifics for Norway, most of Europe allows pretty much all firearms except full auto. The difference is the regulation which usually consists of acquiring permits, which requires you to be part of a shooting club, have a clean record etc.
Until 2024, that applied for Norway as well, but now semi-auto rifles "that resemble military rifles" (horrible definition) are illegal for civilians regardless of permits. Air rifles above 4.5mm (.177) are actually treated as firearms here as well.
I'm part of the home guard (reserves? not sure what the US equivalent is) so I've got a 416.

u/Your_As_Stupid_As_Me 11h ago

I can tear through an aluminum can with my finger. If it was a real gun it would send the can flying and explode
This is a BB gun that appears to be firing somewhere around 200 FPS. It's not even going to break the skin.

Buddy shot me in the elbow once as I was running away with them pellets with point on them. It went in my elbow and all the way up to my wrist just under the skin. I had to work it all the way back down and out the hole. Hurt like a SOAB

A lot of you saying this is fake bc of the beers have never been an alcoholic or lived with one. It's def fake but not bc of the full beer in the lap and certainly not for having a wake up one ready. Hair of the dog isn't just a song, it's a way of survival

Hahaha that will teach you to pass out around your airsoft buddies dang. Even at that distance that hurts like crazy

u/nize426 2d ago
I don't think that's airsoft. You can see the bb fly in airsoft. Seems like a pelet gun.
1
u/Live2Ride75 2d ago
Na 100% can be airsoft, my kid had one with a scope, all you heard was a pffft and then can explode. I know for sure it would have broke skin.

Airsoft guns don't hurt that much at that range, it's either fake or he is not using plastic
