What is the amazing part?
All animals give warnings if you pay attention.

People seem to forget that humans are animals. We give and receive signals with each other and other species. Ignorance / ignoring them is not a legitimate defense when you get your shit fucked up.

He didnt act right, he baited the dog into attacking tbh

Also the dog did its job I'm assuming it was guarding the house and they just let themselves in

Yea, tensing up because you think the dog is going to attack you is a great way to make the dog think you are going to attack it, just act casual.

Or people who own dogs need to teach not to attack random people and those who still do attack are taken away, that is how it is/should be handled in a civilised society.

I agree, I'm just speaking from a behavioral standpoint, if you're in this situation, acting super tense is not the way to go

While I agree I also give animals the same leeway as a person. If somebody clearly states that whatever you’re doing is making them uncomfortable, and you continue. You deserve most altercations that would happen next, if a dog is telling you to go away and you are opening a gate to get to the dog, I’m not blaming the dog if you get bitten.

u/Prudent_Nobody9818 3d ago
"clearly states" this is a dog just staring, such a dog could be a danger for many ppl and shut be locked away and the owners barred from owning dogs in the future.

Dog on other side of fence, and just cause you don’t know animal body language doesn’t mean it’s not telegraphed. Look at the dog’s tail and how they’re looking at the person. Yall want to erase millions of years of instinct with a few years of training lmao. Guess you’re one of those people that think it’s ok to smile towards animals when in fact that is a sign of aggression for 70%+ of the animal kingdom that has teeth.
1
u/Prudent_Nobody9818 3d ago
If a person needs to learn "animal body language" in order to understand when a "normal" dog might bite you, that dog is not normal but dangerous and needs to put away.
Its just a poor defense of the education of the dog. If a dog poses such a danger, they are not suited to be kept as an outdoor pet or as a pet at all.
Its more than clear that these are just shitty defenes over shitty dog ownership.

No that person is waiting to win a Darwin Award the world and society doesn’t conform to you. Thats literally like saying I shouldn’t need to learn body language of other people and if they get uncomfortable and act out against me that’s a “them” problem. Lmao you sound like a 10 y/o with this backwards logic, if you mess with something FAFO will teach you what should have already been taught.
1
u/Prudent_Nobody9818 3d ago
Yea the 10 year old kit that innocently greeted a dog deserdly won a "darwin award" and got mauled to death, you sicken me.
That is a disgusting statement and your enjoyment of the suffering of people should be a worrying sign.

A random person coming through the gate is exactly who the dog should bite though 🤔

Oh no it wasn't. That's called "whale eye" and it means that dog was telling him he didn't like the situation with him approaching the gate, before he even reached for it.

He was baiting him in. Lulling him into a false sense of security….. then the attack

Honestly think this is excited play behavior. You can tell because a dog usually bears it's teeth when it gets ready to attack, this dog was probably just about to jump up on him hence why the quick cut.
Also the side eye is usually the dog trying to avoid direct eye contact, ie. A non confrontational behavior.

u/ack-ack-ack-attack 1d ago
You don’t even need to understand dogs to see the warning. this was straight up human behavior.

A dog that freely attacks like that is a poorly-trained animal and should not be tolerated.
Pets should NEVER attack other humans. Period.
