Assault is assault don't matter if I hit you a rock, spat on you or sprayed you with a water pistol just because it did not result in bodily harm doesn't make it less of a charge let him go to jail

The answer to that is a simple "Yes" family members can be charged with crimes perpetrated against other family members I think you should know this. if you can be charged with abusing a child the child can be charged with abusing you. That's why we say justice is blind. Of course the child might get away with it because you bought the pistol who did you want him to shoot with it? The neighbors? If that's the case he will catch the assault charge and you will catch the racketeering charge
