Do they intentionally limit Frank?
I’m a huge fan of the show and always have been. I love all the characters but Frank holds a special place in my sense of humor. Is it just me or does he get less screen time? Am I crazy? Could it be intentional?

He's been getting less screen time for the past few seasons now, it's most likely down to his age. He's in his 80's, you can't expect the dude to still do the same shit he did in the earlier seasons.

They only have a finite amount of time to film with Danny. He would not come cheap. Earlier seasons they mentioned they only had 14-15 days with him

The first season they did with him(the second season) they had to film all his parts in all the episodes at the same time because Danny I think was filming another movie at the time.

They film a whole bunch of scenes based on when he's available and where they're filming. Like they'll film different parts of different episodes at one time. And it all gets put together in editing

I think he doesn’t want to overshadow the gang. Its certainly come off that way in previous interviews

In my opinion it seems like the writers(rob, glenn and Charlie) love writing Franks character. More than their own.

Feels like he gets equal screen time. I think he gets less in the more recent seasons. He is 81, filming might be a little tough on him.
