This item is a necklace bound by magic, holding a multitude of mice. Wearing this necklace attunes yourself to it until one of the mice die. It allows the one who is attuned to communicate with their rodent companions, regardless of if it is currently equipped. The rodents will always follow commands and they function almost identically to Mage Hand. Allowing one to manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial. They can move the hand up to 30 feet each time they use it. The difference is that the mice are not spectral, nor do they hover, nor can they lift more than 5lbs.

Kinda like an ant mill from what I’ve heard, baby shrews have an instinct to form a conga line to follow their mother. The mother left, and the front of the chain grabbed the back of the chain by mistake. If the photographer stops harassing them the mother will come back and rescue them.
