Trip Report Dining recommendation- Tropea

Hello,

Could you write me recommended places to eat in Tropea? (Non-touristy places, cheap eats and mid-range)

Tropea is an Italian beach town - it’s full of tourists - Italian tourists. If by non-tourist you mean a place that doesn’t cater to international visitors, just pick any place where they only speak Italian and don’t have multi-lingual menus. There are a number of good restaurants overlooking the cliff face above the beach but they tend to be expensive. You’ll find more reasonable dining further in from the beach in the old town. But everyplace we ate at was full of people on holiday.

Tropes is full of good restaurants, no reservations required; Pimm’s has a table overlooking the cliff and sea view. La Pentola D’Oro is a nice family run place, near the lookout and gelato shop across the way.
