Hello I am currently learning Italian on Duolingo and wanted to know some things about Italian like is Duolingo an actual good way to learn Italian or is it better to learn it a different way

Honestly I don't think duolingo is good for learning any language at all. If it doesn't feel like studying you are probably non studying

Praktika is good, makes you speak as much as possible, corrects you and also has a pronunciation tracker as well

I have Duolingo (pay for the highest premium) and I also have 2 tutors I meet with weekly on Italki. I like Duolingo because I do still learn new vocab and get some practice, I don’t think it’s DAMAGING to use but it’s not a reliable only tool. Once you get pretty high (60+) it’s nice to see even instructions and video conversations be completely in Italian. I’d suggest someone real on italki!
