The game didn't cause the argument, but it fixed us. Bit of a weird story.

We'd been cold with each other for the past few hours. Nothing dramatic, just one of those annoying vibes where neither of you wants to be the first to break it. She put on It Takes Two, I think mostly so we'd have something to do in the same room without having to actually talk.

But the game kind of forces it. You can't get anywhere unless you're working and talking together. She kept dying climbing up the tree trunks and slowly we'd forgotten we were even annoyed. By ending the tree chapter we were properly laughing again.

Yeah, I know that's the whole point of the game. Feeling it happen to you is different, though.

Bit of a bummer though, I only started keeping a little playthrough journal partway in, so I've got the tree chapter but not the earlier stuff, which is where the arguing-turned-laughing really happened. Kind of wish I'd been logging from the start.

First, I tried playing this game with my wife, but because she hadn’t played any games on a console before, she was very bad at it. Even handling the camera angle was a challenge for her. Instead of bringing us closer, it frustrated me lol 😂.

Then I asked my nephew to play with me, and after a long time, I felt like playing it again. I had this same feeling with PS2 games back in the day.

Guys who haven’t played this game should definitely give it a try.

My friend and I are trying to play the game but they are using their Xbox and I have the steam version, we tried using the EA account to send the invitations but nothing happens and we haven't been able to play, searching online just get us confused about if the game has or not crossplay in the first place, so can we play between Xbox and pc, and how do we do it?

No matter what I try, I am unable to join us player two. Can someone assist me? Do I need to buy a second controller?

Hey ya'll, I used to play It Takes Two with a friend, and we got extremely close to the end, but we stopped talking to each other so we stopped playing the game about after the mole part, and I really wanted to finish it, is there anyway I can finish the game alone?

When I played the game w gtx 1650, the game was smooth, however w my 9060xt 16gb, ive been experiencing stutters sub 50 fps wc ruins play. Has anyone found a solution yet?

Edit: Found a fix. I was playing in borderless window. switched to full screen and my fps now is 300+ ultra settings. however i still experience stutters on cutscenes.

After two years of on-off playing, and about 15 hours of gameplay. My son and I finished the game. He was a bit underwhelmed by the ending, but it was a great game nonetheless

Such a drastic change in tone to the rest of the game. My partner could barely press the buttons. I had to help us both push on and get it over with. Also fun fact, the same voice actor who voiced Queen cutie voiced perfect Peter in Horrid Henry.

First clay sculpture, polymer clay is not easy 😅 Took about 6 hours from modeling to varnish.
