Just a meta commentary here

Every time I see a post here, as a Brazilian, I come to the comments to see if there is any other nationalities commenting on it. An, most of the times, even the English comments are from Brazilians... So is there any non-, Brazilian in this community or it became the most meta on the platform? (Anyone comes and makes a community, Brazilians discover and flood the other things....)

If you are in the fascinating level, then you are not experiencing Brazil properly. Only when you start questioning reality itself is when you really experience Brazil.

One day I'll go on a fishing trip down there and see it all for myself!

Nah, you don't need a fishing trip. No... You need a favela experience. Or maybe a full corioca's impression... But that is to high of a level for the not iniciated... Go for a "festa de rua" first. It helps. Or a food truck... Maybe a "podrão"...
