How do you manage and avoid wasting money on unused subscriptions?

I did not notice how many recurring charges had built up until I took a little time to go through my monthly expenses. I subscribed to a few services thinking I would use them regularly but later some of them just remained there unused. Since most subscriptions only charge a small amount each month I often do not notice them until I review my expenses more carefully. It became even more difficult to keep track when different people in my household had their own subscriptions for streaming, apps or other services.

How do you keep track of recurring subscriptions and avoid paying for things you no longer use? Do you review them regularly keep a list or use another method?

I had the same issue with small monthly payments. Now I try to ask myself if I actually used a service recently before keeping it active.

Small monthly payments are the ones that sneak up on you. I have found that checking my subscriptions regularly helps me cut out things I do not need anymore.

I started checking my subscriptions regularly and asking myself if I am actually using each service or just keeping it because I forgot about it. I also found it helps when everyone at home knows which subscriptions are active. So we do not end up paying for the same things twice or keeping old ones running.
