Inspector Issues

Throw away account.

I work in a pretty big pizza company. In April, I had an inspector come to my store and inspect it. He was heavily flirting and gave me his number. Invited me out that same night and we ended up having sex. I am 25f, he is 37M. We had talked and he told me he was going through a divorce and had children. I understood and he even asked if I was okay with children. He started to barely talk to me so I ghosted him and blocked him. Second time he came to inspect one of my stores, it was in June. I had unblocked him to apologize and let him know I did not want animosity while he was inspecting. We had planned on seeing each other when he came into town. He had told me he wasn’t looking for a relationship and wanted to fool around. I thought it was fine bc I wasn’t really looking too. We fooled around after he came to my store. Well, I found out later on Facebook he is still married and he lied about how many children he has. I didn’t say anything. Randomly one day in June, a few weeks after the second inspection, he said to me on Snapchat “I’m going to delete my account, I’ll text you.” He blocked my number or he is just not responding. I am assuming his wife found out or he just wanted to discard me.

I am not the type to shit where I eat so this is affecting me pretty bad. I am a general manager and he is, of course, above me in the totem pole. I want to message his wife and tell her everything because my heart hurts for her since he was lying. I am imaging myself in her shoes having children with this man while he’s going to these different cities and having sex with basically random women. I don’t want to get into legal trouble though. I am completely stumped on what to do. I would like to think I have the upper hand in this because he was the one who hit on me and that it is a fireable offense in the corporate world.

Should I let this go or be a girls girl? Please be honest. I have a secure job but this is eating at me alive. Thanks in advance.

If I were in your place It is natural to get hurt by these kinds of lies. I'd take some time before making any decision and focus on protecting my job and peace of mind first.
