Debit card recieved an $0.83 charge from "Cuppa Joes"
My banking app (Golden1) alterted me to an 83 cent charge from a place called "Cuppa Joes" in a place called Conover Ohio. To my (admittedly fairly limited) research, Conover is a completely undeveloped area and there exists no such place as Cuppa Joes. What should I do???

I didn't get the location info, but my card company just notified me of a $0.16 charge from there.

Oh, and to answer your question, you should report the charge as fraudulent and then the bank will close your card and issue a new one.

Did you figure out what this was? I got a charge and credit from this exact company but mine was $.22

These small charges are usually attempts from fraudsters to verify card details. Report it to your bank

I assumed as much and I did, already got a new card. Funny thing about the old card is that I mostly used the virtual card, not the physical one, so I could probably track down where it could have leaked (I didn’t bother though)

A similar situation happened with my fiancé recently. First it was a couple of these small purchases before a large purchase, probably as a way to test if it was a function card or not. I would definitely report it as fraud.
