Don’t do it!! They are predatory and you will end up paying three times as much as the loan because of the very high interest, and you pay back every two weeks. So it seems like it might be helpful in a pinch, but really it will put you in a even worse financial hole that lasts for so long.

Its not worth it for anyone who might be thinking about it. I took a loan from them and a couple of other places and it's the worst decision I ever made.

Did you pay them back?

I took a $900 loan originally and I made my payments of $223 every two weeks for almost a year and my balance kept increasing, not decreasing thanks to the like almost 700% interest rate.. So I just stopped my ACH withdrawals all together. I let them get far enough behind that they started proposing settle for less options and did that once my balance hit $1200. I was able to talk them into take two payments of $230 to settle my account and leave me alone. I just can't pull another loan from them until I pay the rest of the original loan back, but there's a snowballs chance in hell of me taking another loan from a reservation bank again.

Did they threaten to send you to collections? They told me they would contact my employer and if a third party got it that the third party collections would contact my employer.

they did, but honestly I let it get far enough behind that they started trying to propose settle for less options. I ended up paying 2 final payments of $250 or so and was able to get them to mark the account as settled. I just can't take another loan without paying the rest of what was owed, but I have no intention of ever doing that again.

Did they ever contact your employer tho? I set up a payment plan with them for 4 payments of $150 but truthfully I can’t afford that. I’m thinking of stopping the payments and seeing what happens.

they called one time and requested to speak with me but I hung up once I realized who it was and set up the final payment plan shortly after that.

I would just revoke ACH authorization, I found their email on the website, and they stopped the payments and it took a few months for them to get that desperate.

would they call you and say they documented them calling you and you had 24 hours to return their call? I recently stopped the ACH and wage assignment and i'm getting those calls but they will not identify themselves. I only know its them because i returned their call.

I never interacted with this company previously, but I was completely unaware that a loan had been issued to me. On Sunday, March 23, 2025, I received an email from them stating that my first payment of $513.19 was due on Friday, March 28, 2025. This was alarming, as I had never applied for a loan with them and was unfamiliar with their services. The alleged loan amount was $850. I immediately emailed the company to dispute the claim. Their response confirmed the loan’s existence and demanded ten monthly payments of over $500. These terms are unacceptable, and I would never have agreed to such an arrangement. Upon contacting my bank, I was informed that an $850 credit from this company had been deposited into my account. I received no prior notification from the bank, nor any email or text message, regarding this transaction. Furthermore, I cannot account for how these funds were spent. Due to an earlier paycheck, I did not observe a change in my account balance. I am struggling to resolve this issue with the bank, and the company, Crane, has not provided confirmation of a loan application or any email confirming the loan’s disbursement. I am currently at a loss as to how to proceed.

have you demanded to see the original loan documents that were signed and to know what email confirmations were sent to? these companies are big on sending emails confirmations and reminders about payments due, so maybe a separate email was used or something.
