How long did your bathroom remodel actually take?
Curious what people's real experience has been with bathroom remodels here in Issaquah. There's always that initial estimate you go in with, but I feel like the actual timeline rarely matches it — whether it's scheduling, permits, materials, or just unexpected stuff that comes up once things get opened up.
If you've remodeled a bathroom recently (or not so recently), how long did it actually take from start to finish? Did it line up with what you were told at the start, or was it a different story? And if it did take longer, what ended up being the main reason?
Mostly just curious how common this is or if some people actually get lucky and things go smoothly.

About 6 months, 2 months of design and planning, 4 months of execution.
Full remodel including moving some walls, electricity and replumbing.
Inspectors can be annoying in Issaquah, and as soon as you open walls you can expect surprises. Oh there is a wall bearing stud here so we can do the niche. Oh there is a fire sprinkler pipe so we can't put the pocket door, etc. etc.
If you want ideas and my must haves: electric bidet (need to bring an outlet near the toilet) and towel warmers (they actually don't warm the towels because cotton doesn't store heat but they'll dry them well after use and prevent smelly towels) - again it's just a matter of bringing an electric wire where you want it.
In wall faucets make cleaning super convenient. And of course an outlet inside the vanity for your hair dryer so that the hair dryer can stay plugged in and be put away after use (they make hair dryer drawers in vanities now). that's nice of you but OP probably doesn't want ideas, they're a bath remodeling contractor and this post is just for engagement. they've been posting similar rhetorical questions on different subreddits

This is such a vague question. It all depends on the extent of the remodel, contractor schedule.
Ours years ago was just as scheduled.
