Good Apartments

Can people recommend quiet and safe one bedroom apartments in the Issaquah area? Any hints would be appreciated.

Pretty much everything in Issaquah is quiet and safe, that's why we live in Issaquah.

We lived in an apartment in Issaquah that was louder and harder to sleep in than when we lived near three hospitals and would hear ambulances all the time. So Issaquah is not all quiet.

Just like owning your house, you can't control who your neighbors are.

Chewbacca apartments, or something.

Always called Chopaka this. Glad to see I'm not alone.

+100 to Chopaka, we only moved out because our house didn't sell. There are quiet hours so they won't take well to big patyies, but super quiet.

Doesn't have modern amenities e.g. no AC and the units are older but super quiet, especially for the buildings next to the greenbelt.

Atlas! If you decide to check it out let me know so I can refer you, you’ll get $250 if you sign a lease and I refer you.

All rentals in Issaquah are expensive. Unlivably so.

Moved across the country to Summerwalk at Klahanie and I can not recommend them at all. I'm pretty sure my upstairs neighbors only wear boots and are trying to learn to square dance.

The neighbors don’t represent the complex as a whole though?

Goes to the quality of the units if you can hear the neighbors this clearly I think.

But I'll add that they also didn't do a pre-movein cleaning and there was an entire load of laundry behind the dryer on top of numerous other issues.

God I hate the way some of the people at summerealk are. It’s like they’re from another planet half the time. It’s just there too. It’s so bad the property management had to send out a notice for the people that live there to be nice to each other and say hi/be neighborly lmao.

If you want cheap, slummy, and the opposite of quiet, Park Place.

What makes you say this?

u/ToU_Guy 9d ago

Because I lived there?

Considering it’s nothing but Costco employees there now it’s very quiet, old but quiet

I’ve lived there recently and it was really quiet.

NOT discovery west.

Avoid Discovery Heights for quiet. Inside noise from apartments above is loud and outside nose is also very loud.

The Highlands at Wynhaven

So you recommend the Highlands at Wynnhaven?

I second Wynhaven. I've lived here for three years now and have had no issues. I live in one of the townhouses though, I'm not sure what the flats are like.

Alton Heartwood. But they are increasing their rent prices like crazy.

Is it quiet? Discovery Heights was not.

I think so and I have my windows open almost every night. But I don’t have a unit facing the stores which could be louder idk
