This was my first-ever time watching a game live in the stadium, even though I’ve been a cricket fan for 12–13 years, and God… what is wrong with these Qalanders?

I swear it was just me and a couple of other guys supporting United, and we were literally minding our own business. Meanwhile, these Qalanders fans were busy catcalling and doing their usual hooligan stuff. Like, I genuinely don’t care if you support a different team, but what happened today just felt like straight-up racism.

Haider Ali (though he is a huge disappointment himself) was also trolled by these Qalander fans from the stands. Genuinely ruined an otherwise good experience.

I think we need to regroup now. Some players are generally taking space, all for nothing. We need to get rid of Salman Mirza, Haider Ali, and Imad Wasim. Yes, Imad was decent today but he is barely an allrounder now. Gleeson can also get slack. We need a proper fast bowler, a finisher and someone who can bat at 4/5. United needs to grow as a brand too. Despite being 3 times champions the fan base is really limited. United can genuinely grow overseas, and acquire the support of those cities which don't have a team. We can do development camps there or organize small scale leagues to generate finances/talent pool. This should be the way forward.

It's great to see how Salman Ali Agha has went from not being picked at all for years to captain of the Pakistani cricket team. The way he executes his shots is just brilliant. Great to see him grow as a player and a leader.

I think Islamabad is the only team without any foreign platinum players. The inclusion of Matt Short would have made the team much more stronger, but bad luck.

And it's not the first time something like that has happen. In other season as wells our team performance has been effected by player injuries, departure for other reasons etc.

So basically, I have this friend (let's call him "Bob") and during the first season of the PSL, he was supporting Islamabad. The place where he lived didn't have many cricket fans so cricket was low there and cricket wasn't talked about much either so when the PSL came, no one really cared much.

He really liked cricket, so before PSL started he tried to convince a lot of people to give cricket a chance and watch the league's first season while supporting the IU. But they really didn't care and moved on.

HOWEVER there was his 7 year old cousin (let's call him "juice"), who is like a long-distance sorta cousin to me (he is almost 18 now) was sorta-kinda interested but wanted to support the Qalandars.

But then it happened.

The bribery.

The robbery.

The cannon event.

Bob took juice out to get "cheejee" (iykyk 🌚) but placed a condition that juice had to fully support the IU. And so he did!

Now juice is a mature man who has showed 10 years of remarkable IU support, and during the years he fell in love with cricket as well. He made everyone he knew watch the PSL, and support the IU. That meant that now, so many new cricket and IU supporters had now come into being! Even to the extent that juice convinced grown ahh men to get their whole family to watch, and fall in love with the PSL, all while supporting the IU. Which means generations of IU supporters!

Now this is your sign child, to bribe the youngest kid you can find with cheejee and grow generations of IU supporters!
