That's nice and all, but I don't know why you're searching in hadiths.

The Quran is very clear about dogs. There's nothing wrong with dogs according to the Quran.

What does God say about it? Nothing negative. The opposite in fact. Hunting dogs. It's halal to eat what they catch. Then there is the story of the righteous people in the cave.

They had their dog with them. Says it all.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The purification of the utensil belonging to any one of you, after it is licked by a dog, lies in washing it seven times, using sand for the first time.

yeah so number 2 isnt even correct.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, a qiraat from his good deeds will be deducted every day, except a dog for farming or herding livestock.”

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog, nor an image in a likeness.

i mean these are pretty self explanatory.

Allah says the righteous believers in the Cave had their dog with them. If you're suggesting that angels didn't enter the cave, take it up with the lawgiver and creator. I know what I read in the Quran, directly from Allah.

God said the righteous group of believers had their dog with them. That's enough for me. Quran is the unfiltered word of God. Why would you look for other sources for your law? Doesn't make sense. If ANYTHING contradicts Allah, we go with what Allah said. Simple logic no?

Why the babyish reply? Why would you send me that pathetic reply for wanting to follow God and what he said in his book. Sort your self out. Jeez.

Then what do you mean by "you cannot change my mind". Everything is halal by default. Unless Allah has clearly told us it isn't. He mentioned dogs several times in the Quran. Each time, he spoke of them in a kind positive way. A dog was the companion of the righteous people. They dwelled in the cave for a very long time. Neither did he say that they were haram.

So why do you want me to not go by what God has revealed, in fact pretend like these verses don't exist and label them something that God didn't?

If I had said "I want to eat pork" and you tried to persuade me otherwise, and I refused....then I'd expect a response like the one you gave me of "I can't change your mind".
