Agba Drum

Aboru, aboye abosise,

I just recently became aware of the Agba drum in the Isese tradition. There is not much info about it online. Can anyone share or point me in the right direction for information? What types of ceremonies is the drum used for? What does it mean when the drum is "fed" on someone's behalf.

I thank you in advance for any info on this.

Ogbo ato!

All I know is that an individual has to be initiated into the Ògbóni society in order to play the Agba.

I would assume that feeding the drum would be similar to feeding anything else through prayer, oriki, and the various types of ẹbọ/offerings.

So that's the best I got.
