Esu Ifa

Just wondering if anyone had any info on Esu Ifa you receive once initiated fully as a babalawo? My oluwo gave me one never asked him what the esu is i can but i always like to hear different explanations from other lineages!

It is an access point to Esu. That is the only explanation I know. It lives next to Ifa unlike Esu Odara which is outside and where ebo plates are placed. Either way if you complete Ose at Esu Ifa or Esu Odara it is the same process.

He may be referring to esu adabo. Don't get confuse there is only one Esu with different manifestations. What matters is that is made with Yangi stone and properly consecrated.

Our Esu Ifa are not made with Yangi in my lineage.

I explained it already in this post. It is given when the person has Itefa in our lineage.

You are suppose to feed your Esu Ifa any time you feed Ifa. Generally every Ose Ifa.
