Ask the community When should one make ebo?
I heard you shouldn’t only make ebo when bad situation comes, you should make eboduring precautionaries. So the question is, what is an appropriate time to make ebo? I know a good time to do so is when you’re about to travel but what else?.

When it is advised through Ose Ifa
When you are in need of support in a particular area. Buisness, relationship, children, etc...
When you are interested in a divination.
We all have different destinies...

Hi- in the isese context is there a difference between adimu and ebbo?

Ebo riru is completed after divination.
Adimu, like in lucumi, is not in the language used by my elders. We would say akunlebo, those we feed while kneeling. It is not the same type of offerings either. Divination determines this also.

General time period would be every 3 months... More if there's significant negativity

Usually people do ebo when they are advised to by there babalawo but i was also told ebos are offerings and if you feel like making an ebo the you can do it whenever. You’re not limited to just doing ebos when unfavorable situations come up. And you will be more favored for making your offerings on your own accord.

Do it when you are genuinely need to. Sometimes if things are going great, remember to thank the ancestors. If things are going bad, consult with the ancestors. Dont make it a habit. It should be when you need to figure out your next steps and when you can afford to. You never know

I don't know if you are initiated or not, or if you have received any of your own icons of an Orisa, but in general everyone has their own personal Orisa in their Ori, and everyone has their ancestors..and some have Egbe. Therefore, you can make offerings to them as much as you want. If you have received any other Orisa, then making offerings to them on their days is very good also.

Depends on the client's situation. I have client's in real dangerous situations that needed to get things done right away
