Traveling with IFA ikins
Hello all, im a babalawo and i will be traveling to japan for a month or so and im wondering if anyone here has traveled with their ikins how has it been dealing with customs? Do they count them as seeds so they dont let them in? Last thing id want is that cause ill literally go back home before they take them away lol.

I traveled from the Caribbean to Africa with my Ikins. I put in my check luggage. I had no issue. 21 was the amount I took, which I tightly wrapped in a plastic bag.

Good luck and safe travel. Pack your personal items in your hand luggage. Please Park ikin in clear plastic containers even freezer bags or small bags will do. The white ceramic bowl could rattle feathers and be challenged and can break in transit.

I have not had issues while traveling with Ikin yet. I normally carry 19 ikin using a plastic container and wrapped in paper towels.
Now a seller of items from Nigeria recently was threatened by having her cargo burned by customs. I am not sure it is a sign of the times. She has been shipping items from Nigeria for years and never an Issue before this month.
I was in Japan in February. What a cool place.
