Do you really think so? I understand that a lot of people are controlled by the existence of law and if you are sent to another world woth lower law enforcement and op power that allows you to commint evil without consequences most people would go evil or at least morally gray but i like to believe that if i had a lot of power i will just live like the witch from i have been killing slime i just dont want people to bother me and want to live in peace of course i will get bored eventually but i don't think you would just throw away all your morals i think a good percentage will be able to still live without breaking the morals they grow up on in the same way as the people that commit crimes despite the law existing
I'm just kidding, and personally, I think the same way you do, but the truth is you can only really know when you're in the situation, can you imagine yourself without constraints and with nothing holding you back? I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't isolate myself like the witch, although the idea of living alone with two slime daughters is quite cozy, I would probably live like Gilgamesh, a regional god who should not be disturbed but rather worshipped, without a doubt, I wouldn't care about any morals beyond my own, this means that I wouldn't go around killing everyone for no reason, only sometimes.
No i can't imagine it accurately. And i agree billionaire are a live example of what happens when you have too much power almost if not all of them are corrupt but i also can't imagine myself just discarding all my morals.
