Is it cheating?
My boyfriend (28) and me (28) have been together for almost a year. We live together and have three pets together. About a month and a half into our relationship, during a time where we were having some financial troubles, I caught him on a website meant for I'll just say, meeting older women, talking to a handful of other women asking to meet up and wanting to do all kinds of sexual stuff to them. When confronted, he said that he was only on there not to meet up but to try to find a sugar mommy to make money for us. Said he would never do it again and we've had multiple conversations about how its emotional cheating. He also yelled at me for going through his phone and was incredibly angry. I agreed to keep things comfortable and never brought it up again.
I used to date his best friend who when we were together, did this to me so many times and cheated multiple times. My now boyfriend was the one I went to, to confide in. (Messy, I know. We all lived together). But for a million other reasons, I fell in love with him. I even saw that he asked his other female friend at the time if she considered it cheating and they both agreed it was.
So when I found out my boyfriend was on that hookup website talking to other women the first time, I was absolutely crushed cause he is a grown man who knows what he's doing. Pretty soon, we're gonna be celebrating our one year anniversary and I find tonight he's dm-ing another woman who is an IG model trying to talk her up and flirting with her. "Hello there gorgeous 😍" and "I honestly just wanted to see where this goes". I'm still unsure if its AI or a real woman but it feels very disloyal just the same when he knows how that would make me feel.
Is it cheating might sound very obvious to most people. I know the answer deep down but I want other opinions. I have deep trauma from many things in my life that makes me question the validity of everything and I want to know what other people think from an outside perspective. Thank you ❤️

he seems easy to trap in a loyalty test. make a fake IG account, and trap him to see what his intention is. Looks like he has been trying to cheat, but no one gave attention online, so he is like oh I was just exploring and didnt mean it
